White is probably the best protection

The other starter deck, the Rise of the Floodborn Amethyst and Steel starter deck includes a lot of Merlin and Madam Mim cards, but it's a real shame that it's not an all-in theme deck with a foil Madam Mim as well

It prevents free cards from getting cast, it protects your team from board wipes and it is a decently sized body with Vigilance

You can find these extended-art cards from Edge of Eternities (EOE) in non-foil or traditional foil only in Collector Boosters

But drawing a creature card whenever another one of your nontoken dies is very strong, and I expect it to see some Standard play, as well as to be a staple in EDH spider decks
