RISING x Studio Gilay Umbrella 2026 as well as an interviewKeep the rain away with RISING and Studio Gilay, the First Nations led design and animation studio. The umbrella features the 2024 RISING Moon, and is designed to look like a portal opening. Studio Gilay drew on planetary epicycles, First Nations weaving, Astronomy lore and whale bubble nets for inspiration. With a pop action release, point it at the sky for protection or spin it to hypnotise your enemies. MATERIALS Pongee, velcro fastener, plastic
