Tamdhu 'Old Particular' 2006 / 11 years old 48.4% Volume:700ml toffee and a lovely spicynessSituated at the village of Knockando in Speyside, the Tamdhu distillery makes a soft and very approachable dram, and this new expression comes from the team at Douglas Laing & Co, a famous Scottish independent bottler. The aroma the tradtional Speyside whisky style, fruity, sweet and spiced stewed apples, cinnamon and a note of fruit salad (fresh from the tin!). A long and very moreish finish, with oak, runny honey and even some peach crumble.
